The amendment proposals for the LRA and the BCEA are out - and they are the most radical and important changes since the Acts were introduced 15 years ago.
On Tuesday, 20th March 2012, Cabinet approved the submission of these Bills to Parliament where they will be considered by the Portfolio Committee on Labour before being submitted to the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces respectively for adoption.
The Bills will affect every single employer in South Africa and are game changers. Ignorance of these changes, which will come into effect very soon, will be disasterous for the employer who is not pre-warned and alerted.
